Salary (2007-2008)
Resident stipends for the academic year of 2007-2008 are as follows:
- R1 $47,000
- R2 $48,000
- R3 $49,000
- Chief Resident(s) $51,000

Outside employment is permissible with the consent of the program
director. Presently, there is ample opportunity
for third-year residents to moonlight in
local emergency rooms and after-hours clinics. Residents must first
obtain an Illinois permanent license.
